Business cards

Process
I started designing my business card by finding a template that I thought was suitable for my design which I had found on illustrator, illustrator has all sorts of templates but I decided to use a plain and simple template. After I have chosen a template I then went on to put my design on it, moving it around to see which place it suited best at, then i went on to choose a font which I had use the research from my previous work on typefaces. After looking at the typefaces that I had found I decided to choose a script font from illustrator, I had chosen this because it went well with the design that I had made in terms of style and colours. After I had finish positioning my name on the business card I then went on to put the symbols on the bottom of the business card after that I wrote down all the information needed on a business card such as contact numbers, email, etc, underneath different symbols.

Evaulation
I think that my business card looks professional and simple because of the font that I have used. Also I have chosen to use a script font as the size of the font is small and it makes the business card look neat. I have also used different symbols to indicate the information that they would need to find me, this makes it more interesting and it would attract more people into seeing it and wanting it. However I think i can improve my business card by making the font bold so it stands out more and also adding colours, patterns and textures to my business card.
